This innovative rocket system is designed to be simple to set up and operate, requiring only a standard bike pump (not included) to add air to the system. It’s much safer than combustible rockets, and there are no engines to buy for each launch. Just set up the platform and launch tube, place your rocket at the top, add air to the tank with your pump, and watch it blast off!
The onboard tilt sensor ensures the rocket won’t launch in an unwanted direction, and the wireless launch remote lets you send your rocket flying from a safe distance. It couldn’t be any easier! Kid-friendly instructions and a detailed Learning Guide are also included, so kids can learn about the wonders of the cosmos and space flight!
Helpful launching tips
- Before your first launch of the day, pull the air pressure release valve a few times to release any pressurized air that may have remained.
- Place your launch base on a level surface to launch. If the base is not level, the angle sensor will cause a “Tilt Fault” and the rocket will not launch.
- To reset the launch base after a “Tilt Fault”, pick the base up by the handles and pull the air pressure release valve.
Get ready for safe, high-flying outdoor fun with NASA’s high-altitude rocket launcher for kids!
