Influential People


Have you ever wondered what it means to be an influential person? An influential person is someone who has made an impact on you or others. Influential people are all around us. They are our parents, our teachers, our friends, and even our neighbors. They are the people who inspire us, challenge us, and help us to grow!

There are many different types of influential people. Some are famous celebrities, some are politicians. Others are scientists, like Albert Einstein. Still others are artists or musicians. And then there are the everyday people like your parents, relatives, friends, and teachers! They might be famous or might not be, but they all have one thing in common: they affect the world! 

Influential people can affect the world in different ways. They can do this by using their voice to speak up for what they believe in, by making new laws, by inventing things, creating art or music, or by inspiring others to be kind and compassionate, making the world a better place.

  • Be kind and helpful to others. 
  • Stand up for what you believe in, even if it’s not popular. 
  • Be a good role model for others. 
  • Be creative and use your talents to make the world a better place. 


Remember, you don’t have to be famous to be an influential person. No matter who they are, all influential people have one thing in common: they use their power to make the world a better place. If you want to make a difference in the world, remember that you can be an influential person too! 

Spend some time talking with your kids about who has been influential in your life and why. This is a great way to honor those people, by sharing the lessons you learned.
